As Project Manager for Metro Arts, I managed a $400,000 budget, including a $200,000 artist commission, to bring a lively public art installation to the front of a new downtown Nashville supportive housing building.
In partnership with the Department of Homeless Services, General Services, the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency, Daybreak Arts, Room In The Inn, Moody Nolan, and Bell Construction, we delivered a meaningful combination of sculptures and murals constructed from steel, concrete, paint, and powder coating to enrich the space for both residents and the surrounding community.
