As Project Manager for Metro Arts Nashville, I led an $825,500 initiative ($635,000 commission) to bring interactive musical bollards to Mill Ridge Park. Constructed from steel, concrete, motion sensors, LED lights, and audio equipment, these four-foot-tall installations light up and play music whenever visitors walk past.
The project was created alongside partners including Metro Parks, engineering and construction teams, artist Robbie Lynn Hunsinger, and local community groups. Most importantly, it incorporates recorded performances by the Cane Ridge High School Marching Band, transforming the park into a vibrant, student-powered symphony of sound and light.
