Description: The program assignment was to develop a suite of unique character illustrations during an Animation Studio Class. The concept was a digital illustration of a modern, tech-savvy character who is also clumsy and oblivious to the fact that he does not fit in.
The development of the character included hand-sketched roughs, and then transferred into painted cells, where he became an animated character.
More recently, the character was redrawn in Adobe Illustrator using a digital pencil. It is fair to say Charlie has been in development for over 25 years.
